The exhibition is open daily from 01.06.2011 to 30.09.2011, from 10:00 to 18:00. Annually the art exhibition displays paintings of Finnish professional artists, numerous exhibits of applied art from different areas of Finland, including ceramics and wooden sculpture. Year by year the artists from St. Petersburg and Karelia have been participating in the art exhibition increasingly more.
The exhibition is visited by tourists with pleasure, they buy works of art actively. This year the exhibition shows promise to be very interesting. Many reputable artists, including well-known painters from St. Petersburg, will take part in it. The ground floor of the exhibition hall houses a museum containing over 2000 exhibits devoted to agriculture and military history, as well as everyday-use items of the beginning of the last century. The collection was formed by Lauri Ruohola, the previous owner of the estate, who founded the museum. The tour of the museum is included in the price of the ticket.
Ticket prices:
Adults: 6€ Students and pensioners: 5€ Groups, not less than 10 visitors: 4€ per person Children below 14 years old (accompanied by parents) - free of charge. The price of the exhibition ticket includes the excursion round the estate, which includes acquaintance with the interiors of the main building and viewing of the waterfall which still has a functioning water wheel with the diameter of about five metres.
